2024

Workshops

For pro-social individuals who want to increase their contribution to positive social change and improve their personal wellbeing.

ready for a great year?

Work with me in 2024 to explore how you can do good and do well in your work. This series of workshops responds to three challenges I notice in my work:

1. Lack of clarity around vision and mission – there are SO many ways you want to help make the world a better place and it can feel overwhelming and put you in a place where you feel helpless and stuck.

2. Self-doubt and feeling like an imposter so that you’re not always feeling that you’re best placed to lead and influence any of these changes. Instead, you stay quiet and don’t tell people about how good you really are.

3. You do so much for other people and are often putting their needs above your own. Sometimes you feel on top of things – you look after yourself and get what you need, but more often you feel depleted and exhausted and wondering what you’re working so hard for little return.

How will signing up for this help?

These workshops will help give you a sense of clarity on what you can put your time and energy into. This isn’t about ignoring everything else, but instead knowing that you can’t fix it all but you can do something that counts.

They’ll encourage you to recognise what’s stopping you and what you can do it about, working to your strengths and growing in confidence to lead and influence.

You’ll learn about boundaries and how to set healthier ones, you’ll feel better about asserting your own needs and have more energy and optimism for the work and life you want to live!  You'll also have a chance to grow your networked with like-minded do-gooders!

DESCRIPTIONS OF WORKSHOPS

FEBRUARY Self-doubt and saboteurs: You’ll be exploring the topic of self-doubt and looking at what might be stopping you from achieving what you want to achieve – and then what you can do about it!

MARCH Creating your impact plan: I’ll help you to pin down those regular actions you need to take monthly that will help you progress. By the end of this month, you’ll have a list of habits and regular actions that you can get on without having to re-think it every time.

APRIL Growing your network: You’ll create a challenge for yourself to grow your network in a way that works for you. I’ll help you to think more strategically about networking and feel more comfortable in doing it.

MAY Money Stories: May will be the month you look at your relationship with money and we explore what might be holding you back from increasing your income or asking for that pay rise.

JUNE Your time and energy: You'll get super focused on how you use your finite time and energy. You’ll get a clear picture of how and when you work best too.

JULY Strengths You’ll focus on what you’re good at, and what makes you who you are. You’ll feel more energised and confident as we get halfway into 2024!

AUGUST Private Podcast Episode for you in August – this will be a very special episode of Do Good and Do Well that only those signed up for the workshops will get access to.

SEPTEMBER Build healthier boundaries: Perhaps your boundaries are too porous or rigid and you want to learn how to create healthier ones. In September, you’ll set new boundaries for yourself and learn how you can do that without feeling the guilt or shame that can come with it.

OCTOBER Making the last three months count: As we start to close 2024, this month will help you to check in with your plans for the year and look at what you need and want to do to finish the year in a way that makes you feel confident and proud of your work.

NOVEMBER Promoting yourself when you'd rather not: November will be the month we look at promoting yourself when you really don’t want to. What can you do and what will help you keep or get your mojo back.

DECEMBER Review and Planning for 2025: We’ll finish the year with my annual review and planning workshop getting ready to set your priorities and goals for 2025!

YOU'RE ALSO GET ACCESS TO RECORDED WORKSHOPS:

Get clarity on your vision: focused on helping you to articulate a clear vision for your work and the life you want to live. You’ll have a strong sense of what you’re trying to achieve and something you can pin on your office wall to remind you every day about where you’re heading.

This is for

you if...

If you have a strong desire to create positive social change.

It’ll be useful if:

  • You want to carve out some regular time to do some big thinking and action-taking
  • You can't commit to a more intense programme and you like the idea of being able to implement your learning each month.
  • You know you could be doing more good, and you could definitely improve your personal wellbeing.
  • You want to connect with like-minded people who care about making a difference.

this is not

for you if...

.…you want a blueprint or 5 easy steps on how to live and work

…you're not willing to reflect on yourself…

…or take any action that's different to your normal way of working.

Here’s what people have said about my previous workshops:

“Just did a workshop with the fantastic Sarah Fox - she has helped me find the courage to do what I want to do instead of what I think I ought to do. She is the changemaker's Fairy Godmother”

Bernadette Russell

"Your session today preparing us for a successful 2023 was amazing.

So glad I attended"

Stella Binoy

“I wanted to say a big thank you for the 2023 goals workshop last week. I usually find that kind of thinking painfully slow to extract from myself so I loved the swift pace, the prompts, and coming out the other end with several pages of thinking that I can revisit and flesh out”

Workshop attendee

“Such a useful session. Highly recommended. Thank you so much Sarah.”

Emma Rucastle

@SarahFoxCoach just led an ace exploration into marketing for those of us who find it icky…I feel better about it already- check me out tweeting about my morning!

@becgeebec

“THANK YOU again for the reminder that we don't have to do everything at once, that we can find our own ways to do things that don't feel too exposing, and that even baby steps are a valid beginning”

Yes, there will be a recording sent to you within 48 hours of the workshop and you'll also receive any additional resources.

about

Sarah Fox

ore. I am a do-gooder, unashamedly earnest and recovering people pleaser. Sometimes I do good and do well and sometimes I don’t: I’m a messy human being. I am really good at creating workshops where you can get curious about yourself and your work and I’m great at bringing my skills as a coach, mentor and facilitator together. I truly believe that my clients have everything they need to make a positive difference in the world and that can help to create change without losing themselves in the process.  I also know that there are wider systems and structures at play that we can't ignore.

I’m founder of Do Good and Do Well. I worked in education, arts, housing, and the charity sector for over 20 years before I became self-employed.

I’m a mum of two children (12 and 13 years) and live in Ramsgate, Kent.
